About Us

Prosper provide a mentorship programme designed to work with local businesses to engage, mentor and support local students throughout their trainee years.

Our mentorship programme is personalised to each student and their respective employer. As a mentor, we guide each student through knowledge, experience and perspective. The mentoring relationship helps the student navigate the obstacles and challenges they are likely to face in the early stages of their working life. The mentor will help prepare the student, leading them to see success and achievement within their chosen career path. We work closely with each company to understand the needs of the business and the expectations of the student.

Prosper, is to succeed. Our services therefore begin prior to employment and continue for the duration of their first trainee year. By providing bespoke workshops, onboarding, regular workplace visits, one to one student and mentor meetings, professional studies support and cohort social events we enable our students to achieve success.

    Owner

I am the proud founder of Prosper. With 16 years experience working in the corporate sector, followed by over 3 years as a HR and Business Manager in a local secondary school, my experiences lead me to see that there is an invaluable missing link between local students who choose to remain on-island, and corporate work placements. Having had a strong focus on recruitment and a number of years working with young people in our community, I have extensive knowledge and understanding of wellbeing and safeguarding best practice. I am passionate about creating opportunities for businesses to grow through early recruitment of local students. I'm dedicated to providing the best support for both the business and student through a bespoke mentorship programme that provides a clear and structured career pathway.
